Terms of Use

Bianex Browser Terms of Use · Version 1.0 · Effective 25 October 2026

In short. Bianex is free to use for your own purposes. Use it lawfully and respect the sites you visit. It comes as it is, without guarantees, and BIAN's liability is limited as far as the law allows. Your data stays on your device, as the Privacy Policy explains.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and BIAN ("BIAN", "we", "us") about your use of Bianex Browser on any platform, including updates, the portable form (Bianex Go) and any edition we offer ("the App"). The Privacy Policy is part of these Terms.

By installing, opening or using the App, or by choosing to agree in the App, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the App and uninstall it.

2. Who may use the App

You must be at least 13, or older where the law where you live requires it. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms for you and is responsible for your use. You must not use the App if the law forbids you to.

3. Your licence

BIAN grants you a personal, free, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for lawful purposes, under these Terms.

You may not, except as the law expressly allows: sell, rent or sublicense the App; copy or distribute it other than through the portable form or channels we provide; modify it, remove its notices, or reverse engineer it; or present a modified copy as Bianex.

The App includes components made by others (among them Microsoft Edge WebView2 or Android System WebView, the Tauri framework, the adblock-rust engine, and the filter lists of their publishers). They are used under their own licences, which these Terms do not change and which prevail for those components.

4. Using the App properly

You are responsible for what you do with the App. You agree not to use it to:

The App does not host or provide the content of websites. Websites, and what you do on them, are governed by their own terms; you are responsible for respecting those terms, including any about blocking advertising.

5. Ad blocking, privacy and safety features

Ad and tracker blocking, Ghost Mode, Safe Browsing, HTTPS-Only, redirect protection and the App's other protections reduce risks and unwanted content but cannot stop all of them, and may sometimes block or change something you wanted. Their lists come largely from independent publishers. They are no substitute for your own care, and BIAN does not promise that any site is safe because the App shows no warning.

Allowing ads on a site through Support is your choice and can be undone at any time. The support links the App shows are found on the page itself; BIAN has no relationship with those creators or services, and does not check them.

6. Your data and your device

Your data is stored on your device (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for keeping your device, its passwords and your backups safe, and for keeping copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. Data may be lost through device failure, uninstalling, clearing data, beta changes, or other causes; BIAN cannot recover it.

7. Updates, beta versions and service changes

We may release updates, change or remove features, or stop offering the App or an edition. Through the App's signed configuration we may show notices, require an update, put the App or a feature in maintenance, or stop a version from running, for example to protect users or fix defects. Some versions are beta versions: they may contain errors, may change, and may reset data. Features that depend on third-party services stop working if those services change or end.

8. Donations

You can support Bianex with a donation. A donation is a voluntary gift: it buys no goods, services, features or priority, creates no contract for anything in return, and is not refundable except where the law requires it. Cryptocurrency transfers are made from your own wallet, are public and cannot be reversed: check the address and network before sending. Taxes on your donation are your own responsibility.

9. Third-party sites and services

The App lets you reach websites and services that BIAN does not own or control, including search engines, translation, filter-list publishers, app stores, payment and blockchain services. BIAN is not responsible for them, their content, availability, accuracy, security or practices, and your dealings with them are between you and them.

10. Intellectual property

The App, its design, code (other than third-party components), the names Bianex and BIAN and their logos belong to BIAN or its licensors and are protected by law. These Terms give you no right to them except the licence in Section 3. If you send us feedback or ideas, you allow us to use them freely, without payment or obligation.

11. No warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, accuracy and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.

In particular, BIAN does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or free of errors, that it will block every advertisement, tracker or threat, that it will work with every website or device, or that data will not be lost. You use the App at your own risk.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, BIAN and its owners, developers, employees, agents, licensors and suppliers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill or use, arising out of or in connection with the App or these Terms, however caused and whether or not foreseeable.

To the fullest extent the law allows, BIAN's total liability for all claims relating to the App or these Terms is limited to the greater of the amount you paid BIAN for the App (the App is free) and USD 10.

Some places do not allow these exclusions or limits. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, or your rights as a consumer that cannot be waived.

13. Indemnity

To the extent the law allows, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless BIAN and its owners, developers, employees and agents against claims, losses, liabilities and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the App, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or of anyone's rights.

14. Ending these Terms

You can stop using the App at any time and uninstall it. Your licence ends automatically if you break these Terms. Sections 6 and 8 to 17 continue after these Terms end.

15. Export and sanctions

You must comply with the export control and sanctions laws that apply to you and to the App, and must not use or provide the App where those laws forbid it.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which BIAN is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except that mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country where you live still apply to you.

Before starting any formal dispute, you agree to contact us (Section 18) and try for 30 days to resolve it in good faith. Claims must be brought individually, not as a plaintiff or member of a class or representative action, where the law allows that limit.

17. General

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and BIAN about the App. If a provision is found unenforceable, it applies to the extent it can and the rest remains in force. If we do not enforce a provision, we have not waived it. You may not transfer these Terms; we may transfer them with the App. Neither of us is responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control. We may change these Terms; we will update the version and date above and, for a material change, ask you to agree in the App before you continue.
