For creators
Let Bianex readers support you
Bianex blocks ads and trackers. When your page shows where people can support you, Bianex points your readers to it, and they can let your ads through while trackers stay blocked.
How it works
- Link to your page on Ko-fi, Buy Me a Coffee, Patreon, GitHub Sponsors, Liberapay or Open Collective, the way you may already do.
- When someone reads your page in Bianex, a heart (on Android) or “Support” (on Windows) appears in the address bar. It shows your site’s name and yours, and opens your links.
- There they can also allow ads on your site: your ads load, and trackers stay blocked.
What Bianex looks for
- A link to your own page on one of those six:
ko-fi.com/you,buymeacoffee.com/you,patreon.com/you,github.com/sponsors/you,liberapay.com/youoropencollective.com/you. - In your header, footer, menu or sidebar; or anywhere, when the link says what it is: “Support”, “Donate”, “Tip”, “Sponsor”, “Buy me a coffee”, “Become a patron”, “Contribute”. A GitHub Sponsors link counts anywhere. A passing mention in an article doesn’t.
- Your site’s name from
<meta property="og:site_name">and yours from<meta name="author">, when your page has them.
Bianex shows up to four links, and builds each one itself from the platform and your username on it, so no page can slip in another address. It shows none on the platforms’ own sites, where the links are everyone’s.
What allowing your ads does
On your site’s pages, the ads Bianex would stop can load. What tracks people stays blocked, and so does anything known to be harmful, so an ad that can’t show without a tracker may still not show. Your readers can turn it off again at any time. In a private tab they see your links, but allowing ads isn’t offered, since it would keep your site’s name.
Bianex never handles money
Your links open your own page on the platform. Bianex takes no cut, asks you to sign up for nothing, and never learns who supported you. It finds your links in the page your reader opened, on their own device, and sends nothing anywhere.
A browser that blocks trackers and still lets creators earn.
Bianex for Windows and Android, with no account and nothing about you sent anywhere. Coming soon.
